Step back in time and hear the stories of those who lived and died in Gilpin County at the annual Cemetery Crawl where the dead once again come alive.

Each year, a different cemetery in Gilpin County (there are 11) hosts the event and local history buffs portray those who now call these cities of the dead home.

The 37th Annual Cemetery Crawl will be at 11 a.m. on August 22, 2026. We are still deciding on what cemetery it will be at. Tickets will go on sale in early summer.
